Day 3: Mile 1141 - Colorado Welcome Center

Day Mile 76: MKa is driving and we got her to Colorado! Just stopped at the state welcome sign to take pictures. Of course, she is jumping for joy! Truckers were honking at us as they drove by...and no, not because we were shirtless. ;)

Low and behold a family drive off the side of the road by the sign after us and we asked them to take our picture together...

Bella (being Bella) started chatting with them and asked where they were from...they said Nebraska and that they were just taking pictures with the Welcome Colorado sign,

then they were going to turn around and take a picture with the Welcome to Nebraska

sign!  ????  Will have to ask my friend, Mary M, about a Nebraskan sense of humor??
